"The task of art today
is to bring chaos into order".

Untitled Landscapes Manifesto

Untitled landscapes, started in 2015, is a running project to collect 225 (or more) little square handmade drawings : every drawing is a sort of framed view of imaginary skylines of possible cities, unreal geometric lanscapes and ambiguos scenery.Works are a tricky mix of patterns and grids, cutting-edges shapes and soft lines, shadows and marked edges, hatches and lines, different layers of overlying nets, totally black and white, tring to represent the contrasts and complexity of the faceted contemporary city. The idea is that the project will finish when the last view will be drawn. Every drawing is approximately 13 cm x 13 cm large. Drawings will be collected in nine 50cm x 50cm framed boards to compose a great 3x3 squared grid (150 cm side). Design it’s very spontaneous, fluently and quite fast, without any correction. Design is almost exclusively freehand especially for hatches. Different thicknesses black ink pens are used to draw and to mark the lines.

Density | Insanity Manifesto

The endless growth of the world population and the resulting housing demand. The high-density solution in Southeast Asia and China. The spontaneous city in South America. The boundless European city. The all over the world crazy non-stop densification process. The project DENSITY | INSANITY try to draw scenarios in which population density takes some limit places and their total inhospitality. The limit places are forgotten places, removed, abandoned, without any function. Can totally unlivable places stop the densification? Is there a limit beyond which places become densification-proof? The project displays some scenarios as absurd as only the everyday reality can overtake. “DENSITY | INSANITY is a visual critique of the real estate development without any control and without any quality. The work is made entirely digitally.

7Billion City | Masterplan Manifesto

The endless growth of the world's population goes beyond 7 billion people. The 10 million people metropolis are more and more. Newly established cities in China and Africa are no longer numbered. The endless European city stretches from west to east. In the meantime the spontaneous city attacks the edges of the planned city and fills in the few empty voids. Planning and casuality. Rule and spontaneity. Principle and its denial.
